College is Stressful! Finding Help and Hope in Your New Home Away From Home (or When "Woo Sa" Won't Do)

Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 5:00 PM until 6:15 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

Heading to college is more than just going to a new school... it's often adjusting to tougher classes, making and managing your own schedule (and money), moving away from home, making new friends, getting along with (hopefully) new roommates, cafeteria food, surviving Rochester winters, and more. And sometimes you/your student find themselves adjusting to all of this while still dealing with whatever is going on back home, in their community, in the world, and/or on campus. Who/What is there to help you manage the stress of it all before it manages you? This session will introduce you to supports offered at the University Counseling Center and other campus offices.
